Markets

Three lanes, and the evidence in each.

Fintech and digital assets, AI-enabled SaaS, and consumer commerce. Nineteen years of evidence across all three.

Fintech & Digital Assets

Institutional and consumer

Institutional custody and tokenization platforms serving banks, custodians, and hedge funds. Standard Custody and OTTO held more than $1B in client assets, and Standard Custody was acquired by Ripple in June 2024. HelloCrypto was architected to all seven incoming Brazil VASP requirement areas.

  • Institutional custody, tokenization
  • DEX trading, fiat on and off ramps
  • Staking & yield, payments

AI-Enabled SaaS

Shipped in product

A live in-app AI assistant on Google Play for crypto market, project, and investment questions. Autonomous AI agents for portfolio optimization and trading, designed and built for the October 2026 regulatory go-live. A full UX redesign of two institutional platforms using A/B and AI-assisted testing.

  • Conversational AI, in-app assistant
  • Agentic AI systems (built)
  • AI-assisted architecture, design, testing

Consumer & Commerce

Volume and conversion

Connected Commerce at Target, across two product lines. Earlier consumer work spans Warner Bros. platforms reaching up to about 200M monthly users and a 100,000-unit IoT device line.

  • Activation & conversion funnels
  • Cross-sell, customer engagement
  • A/B testing, user research, UX redesign
The rebuild

Five steps became one.

Connected Commerce at Target covered two product lines. User testing and experimentation found the drop-off, and it was structural: a five step purchase flow, with waits between the steps.

Rebuilding that flow into one-click selection, adding save-for-later, and cutting the inter-step waits more than doubled monthly activations. Pre-set cross-sell bundles on Target.com grew activation and add-on revenue about 30% year over year.

Background

The method has not changed. The stakes have.

Product work started in 2007 on Build, Price & Buy at Mitsubishi Motors, and the approach has held ever since. Find where people drop off. Rebuild the flow. Ship it. Measure what moved.

Consumer platforms taught volume, first at Warner Bros. and then at Target, where a five step purchase flow became one-click selection and monthly activations more than doubled. Co-founding GPS of Things taught what hardware costs, and when to stop: development was halted once competitive evidence showed Tile outscaling the category.

Fintech raised the stakes. At PolySign, product strategy covered institutional custody and tokenization platforms holding more than $1B in client assets for banks, custodians, and hedge funds. HelloCrypto put the whole picture in one build, self-funded with $150K and architected to all seven incoming Brazil VASP requirement areas.

Built, shipped, and sold: one year from start to Google Play launch, and acquired four months after that.

Looking now at VP of Product and Head of Product roles in fintech, digital assets, and AI-enabled SaaS.
